Time is the only
honest metric.
Every Second is the independent stopwatch for Avalanche L1s. From seven regions on seven independent clouds, we send real transactions to every chain and time the truth — to the millisecond, around the clock. Built for Avalanche first. Chain-agnostic by design.
Every chain grades its own homework.
Each L1 monitors itself, from the inside. A node can report "healthy" while users wait ten seconds for a transaction. Institutions moving billions onto these chains ask one question first: who independently verifies this? Today, nobody does.
You are riding one of our probe transactions right now. This is exactly how we measure every chain: send, race through consensus, stop the clock the instant it finalizes.
01Listen to every chain
Our own Avalanche node follows every mainnet L1 at once — blocks, validator sets, ICM traffic. Passive, continuous, free for every chain.
02Touch with real transactions
Probes in Virginia, São Paulo, Frankfurt, Johannesburg, Dubai, Singapore and Tokyo — seven regions, seven independent clouds — send signed transactions every 60 seconds and run the stopwatch, tightening to every 5 seconds the moment something drifts.
03Tell teams and the world
Teams get an alert within seconds of degradation. The world gets a public score every chain can be judged — and trusted — by.
One number every chain answers to.
Measured finality, uptime, validator health and ICM delivery — blended into a single grade, published openly, computed the same way for everyone.
| Chain | Score | Finality p50 | Finality p99 | Uptime 90d | ICM delivery |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| meridian-finance | 99.4 | 0.41s | 0.92s | 100% | 100% |
| aurora-gaming | 98.7 | 0.47s | 1.18s | 99.98% | 99.7% |
| polar-assets | 97.9 | 0.52s | 1.31s | 99.95% | 99.2% |
| helios-play | 94.1 | 0.88s | 2.60s | 99.71% | 97.4% |
| northline | 88.3 | 1.42s | 4.10s | 99.12% | 93.8% |
Cross-chain messages fail silently. We watch every one.
Value moves between L1s through Interchain Messaging. When a message stalls, no dashboard anywhere shows it. Every Second traces its probe messages end to end and raises the alarm on the first one that doesn't arrive. No other tool in the ecosystem watches this today.

Signal, not noise.
Static thresholds cry wolf. Every Second learns each chain's own rhythm — day and night, weekday and weekend — so an alert means something actually changed, and it arrives with a diagnosis, not just a red light.
One hard rule: intelligence works on signals, never on scores. The reliability score stays a public, deterministic formula anyone can recompute.
Measurement you can cite.
"Sub-second finality" should be a measured fact, not a marketing line. Every Second publishes the first open, longitudinal dataset of real-world finality, validator churn and cross-chain latency across sovereign Avalanche L1s — written up for peer review.
The score is not for sale.
Chains never pay to be measured, and no one can pay to change a number. Ecosystem foundations fund the instrument — the way public infrastructure has always been funded — and everyone reads it for free.
Scoreboard
- Public reliability score, measured finality
- Degradation alerts for every chain team
- Open research dataset, open methodology
Foundation partnership
- Every mainnet L1 measured continuously from seven regions
- Cross-chain message delivery watched across the whole network
- Measured data for your quarterly ecosystem reports
- Signed reliability attestations institutions can cite
New ecosystems
- The same probes and method, deployed to your stack
- Scores comparable across ecosystems, one methodology
- Probes in the regions your users live in
Funding never moves a number. Every measurement traces to a signed on-chain transaction, the methodology is public, and the scoreboard stays free — including for chains that pay nothing.
Give your ecosystem an independent stopwatch.
